    I agree with you completely. I have been using Ubuntu as my only OS for the past one year, and not had major issues to it, thanks to my urge to experiment. However, not all users are keen and necessarily have the time to do that.

    For eg: Open Office is good and gets the job done. However, for first time users, it is a pain. They have to search online for help. If we can have commercial cross-platform software like Microsoft Office 2007 (genuinely good features) easily installable for Ubuntu, then the conversion job is half done.
