		<description>OK, that didn&#039;t do it. I&#039;ve now removed the &lt;strong&gt;updateURL&lt;/strong&gt; line. That ought to do it. If they ever actually release an update I&#039;ll have to install it manually, but that&#039;s OK if I don&#039;t have to look at that stupid pop-up any more.</description>

		<description>OK. I seem to have found a fix. It hasn&#039;t been thoroughly tested, but so far, so good. 

Edit the &lt;strong&gt;install.rdf&lt;/strong&gt; file and remove or comment out this line:
[term]&lt;em:targetPlatform&gt;Linux_x86-gcc3&lt;/em:targetPlatform&gt;[/term]
It should be line number 76.</description>
