This week Linux Journal announced a promotion to win a free one year online subscription. Every day this week there will be a video that includes some secret letters. Watch all the videos from this week to collect the secret letters and unscramble them to win. Friday's video will provide the email address to submit your answer. Today's video (Thursday) provided the final letters, so you have a day to figure out the scramble. Well, I just figured it out a few minutes ago. I'm not going to give away the answer, but I'll tell how I did it.

I'm not very good at word scrambles, so I searched the internet for some tools to help me. It turns out that Linux Journal provided the answer.

Step 1: Watch the four videos from this week and write down all the secret letters.

Step 2: Use the search box at the top of my blog and search for linux journal scramble. Follow the first or second link to a "Cooking With Linux" article about Jumbled Words.

Step 3: The first two programs mentioned in the article are a couple of command line programs for generating anagrams. Install both of these programs and give them a try from the terminal using the secret letters as the input.

One of these two programs will output less than 500 results. Scan through these results and you should run across a well known Linux term within the first 100 results. (The words might be out of order.)
